UBA Restaurant
Shoreditch
In collaboration with Phelans Construction and alongside Addmind Hospitality and Veerhal Studio, we have created this beautiful new Pan Asian restaurant, UBA on Great Eastern Street in Shoreditch, East London. Using rich colours, fabrics and patterns, exquisite detailing and atmospheric lighting delivered by over two hundred lanterns, we have created a space that is playful, sophisticated and exotic all at once.
We were instrumental in the design, detailing and delivery of the both main bars; one a stunning central bar with wrap-around low and high-level seating, and integrated air conditioning. The other an eight metre two-tierd sushi bar with integrated refrigeration and display cases. We also detailed and coordinated all fixed joinery items , bespoke lighting shelves, wine wall and wait stations, along with the coordination of services and fire safety equipment. Additionally we were responsible for the detailing of external branding, canopies and signage and obtaining relevant planning consents from Hackney Council.
