The owner’s of this 1930s single-family home in Southeast London came to us seeking additional square footage to house a large kitchen and gathering space on the ground floor, a new first-floor master suite, and a complete refresh of the exterior.  The facade of our two-story side extension, was expressed in rich cedar cladding.  The horizontal aspect of the timber combined with slot windows presents an undeniably modern composition rendered warm and inviting by its materials.  The addition of a tall, glazed separation wall combines to create a beautiful family home with enviable kerb appeal.
